So 2 years have passed and I have worked, crafted, facebooked and not blogged. I have been tinkering with cuppie cakes. It really is a lot of fun. I will post some pics soon.

Scout Family of the Year!

Last Friday January 23, 2009 The Nugent family was honored being Scout Family of the Year for the Temescal District. What a thrill. I was very proud of my boys they work so hard. The plaque is beautiful and being displayed proudly. Tyler and Austin did the flag ceremony as Spencer and I watched. Darren, unfortunately missed the dinner because he was in the hospital for observation for possible appendicitis. He is home and feeling a bit better.

What fun I had making Tyler's birthday banner. I started from scratch, no pattern. This is the result of some skull paper, swirls, glitter, stamps and some ink Oh! and a little bit of paint. I cut the letters with the cricut, made it sooooo easy.

Happy Birthday Tyler

Its amazing but Tyler is 14 now. He wanted his birthdday simple. He picked a few friends and they went to the movies on Saturday night. They saw the "Punisher". they loved it! ACtiOn packed! After the movie they came home and with Jen & Mikes help we enjoyed a Cheeseburger, Hot Dog Feast with all the fixings. Of course cake and ice cream. I got him an adorable skull cupcake and also a traditional cake decorated with skulls and gems. He loves skulls and cross bones. I found a great placesetting of skulls and a bunch of accessories. At the Treasured Journeys crop I spent most of my time making him a banner we can display year after year. Enjoy the pictures.
